St george Armoury presents this fine copy of the armour presented to Henry by the Emperor Maximllian.Although a plainer style than the engraved and silvered original,many ground breaking features are found on this reproduction,hot forged breast plate 3mm thick and tapering towards the edges,hand made hinges and buckles,and some hardened vanadium steel components rendering the plates almost un-dentable despite being only 1mm thick in some places.This armour is heavy and light just where the original is the total weight being correct within a few pounds.
