All blades are made from hardened high carbon steel ,fully hardened and tempered to hold an edge as well as any cutlery anywhere.The handles are of a 1350-1550 authentic scale tang construction,in my opinion the best design of handle ever made if you want long service.They have brass shoulder plates and rivets,the scales in thes cases made from horn,box wood and ebony.
These knives are very sharp but must be dried and oiled after washing to prevent rust.4.5 to 9 inch blades.
